Serviced the Melbourne Fremantle trade. 1930 chartered out to Australasian United S N Co as a temporary replacement for their engine-troubled Orungal. 1932 serviced the east coast trunk line ports taking in North- west coast of Tasmania at the nadir of the loop up to Brisbane, Queensland. mid 1933 again placed on the Melbourne - Fremantle run until August 1935 when sold to Singapore interests and renamed Hong Siang. 1951 she had been operating under the auspices of Ministry Of War Transport UK until acquired outright 1952 and renamed Empire Longford.
