Bonnie is a 9 or 10 year old chestnut mare, likely stock or stock x, lightly handled, quite scared of people, however once trusting is ok. When caught will lead. Stands about 14hh. Feet have been trimmed but requires patience and more foot work. Probably also requires teeth to be done, likely to need sedating for this. Bella is Bonnies daughter, 7 or 8 years old, by an Arab stallion, bay mare, again lightly handled, halter broken, leads well with lovely movement, stands about 13hh. Hard to catch in a large space. Has had feet done but also requires more work. These two lovely ladies were rescued by a very kind hearted lady when they were headed for the dogger, their rescuer is honest enough to say she doesnt know enough about horses to keep them, and she needs help for them. They are both well fed, in good condition, wormed regularly with a kind neighbours help but require ONLY a very experienced horsey home. Last floating attempt a number of years ago was very traumatic so will require patience and a truck. There is a wooden ramp on the property that may be useable, but would require inspection before use. They are free to a knowledgable home, pending approval from owner. Located Kentucky, NSW. PLEASE INBOX WITH DETAILS OF YOUR EXPERIENCE BEFORE REQUESTING A CONTACT NUMBER. I have inspected these two in person and will only give out contact details to suitably experienced homes, their owner is very concerned about their future.
