DIRECT TO MASTER RECORDING II This is a direct to master recording of a Yamaha C5 Special Edition piano. The microphones pre-amplifiers were connected directly to the analogue/digital 88.2KHz and 24 bits converters without any equalization or compressing-limiting. There was no subsequent mixing or mastering. The balance was achieved by careful microphone placement and pre-amplifiers gain. Therefore, the high quality sound you hear is the raw sound heard during the recording of the master.
