(DISCLAIMER: If you like this status, I will reply with a number for you. Youll have to post that number of things about yourself in a fresh status update. Oh, and I know Ive used incorrect grammar several times below.) I was given 8. So here are 8 things you dont know about me: 1) The best thing I have done for myself is learn to forgive. I lived through some tough things as a kid, and I realized long ago that I couldnt live a happy life holding on to that anger. 2) I never knew what I wanted to be when I grew up. I still dont. 3) I love teaching, but I hate working in normal schools. I feel like Im constantly judged and put down as a teacher in public schools.....so give me alternative education programs any day. Sure, the kids can be mean, but thats usually because they feel comfortable releasing their anger around me. At least at AEs, I have an everyone understands that were in it for the students, not the politicians. 4) I hate flying. I love traveling, and I get really excited about the trip, but then I remember were going on a plane, and the thought makes me break out in a full body flop sweat. To the point that Ive been randomly selected several times because my fear apparently reads as suspicious in the TSA line. 5) I love my husband....Im sure you could have guessed that by the fact that I married him, but its something that means more to me than I ever thought it could. I love him so much that I say sorry even if I feel like hes wrong in a disagreement. I dont suggest that to anyone else. You have to have a great guy like mine to not be taken advantage of. I just want him to be happy because I know all the sacrifices he makes to give me the best life possible. 6) Im not an atheist. I dont really have a term for what I am, but I know what I believe, and I dont need saving. Thank you for the kind intentions though. I do have defined beliefs, and one of them is that its not my calling to preach to others. 7) I love coffee flavored things not because I crave the flavor but because it reminds me of my Grandpa. He always had coffee ice cream and frappes, and having coffee anything makes me feel like hes still near by. 8) I look exactly like my grandmother. I even have her forearms. We never really got along, but I loved her, and now that Ive learned more about her as a woman, I can appreciate her views and the challenges she lived through as a woman before the Womens Liberation Movement.
