DISCLAIMER: You will draw your own inferences from my statement regarding Robin Williams. I was a huge supporter of his acting and comedy over the course of my entire life, specifically my childhood. Dont draw the wrong impression that I am a pessimistic towards his death. I am merely speaking my mind. == == == == == == == == == == == == == == == == More people seem to be going off about the tragedy of Robin Williams death than the tragedies amidst all of the current world conflicts surrounding Gaza and afflicted countries. This is just food for thought. My entire news feed is countless posts about peoples condolences surrounding his immediate and spur of the moment death.. I just want to raise awareness that I rarely see this for things outside of the stars of Hollywood. It seems like a bit of a trip from my eyes looking in on this. For I see a great man has passed, sure.. But I also see a fixation consistently on famous figures dying, and how we all tend to fixate on the event momentarily, only to change focal points when the next tragedy occurs.. life & death occur in balance, we can not be surprised by this, we are shocked that the event of someone who we admire is passing, we mourn, we collectively move on. Just wanted to put some ideas out there.. Why can we not show such empathy for people whose names we do not know, whose art has not be acknowledged, and whose legacy was never shared with the mass population. We all have stories to tell, insight to share, and beauty within our hearts.
