DISCLAIMER: this post is not to receive praise I simply wanted to share something. Yesterday as I stood at the deli counter waiting to order my organic ham I read a client email. I almost cried. The last month has been hard to say the least. The enormity of having a small business (and I understand I’m not saving lives here but none the less) and 2 small kids really hit home. Getting up at 5am for about a month straight trying to catch up on editing, still running a house hold and not always getting much sleep was intense and so I asked myself “is this really worth it?”. But then…… I read this: Hi Melissa Package arrived this afternoon but I was under strict instructions not to touch it until I got home :) We were both blown away and touched with the effort you went to. I was a bit cranky after a monday at work and the chocolates put me in a good mood to explore the rest of the package hahah. It is a pleasure to be able to have something to display in our house right away while we sort through the rest. We both feel spoilt for choice there are so many magic moments. Thank you once again Melissa I hope you can shoot some of our friends weddings and we can hang out again much love S&C xx Is it worth it? As long as I can continue to juggle so that my family get the best of me, absolutely, without a doubt.
