DISCOUNTED RUSK DUNKING IS A TRULY DELICIOUS DEAL You can take the South African out of South Africa but you cant...you know the rest! I stopped in at Meatland on Bar Ilan Street, Raanana yesterday, and was overwhelmed with nostalgia at the sight of their display of genuine, Bokomo rusks for less. Suddenly I had flashbacks of long road trips to Durban, punctuated by pit stops for coffee, and the inevitable rusks. Next, I pictured cold Johannesburg winters, snuggled on the couch under blankets, with a box of rusks in easy reaching distance. Ill bet many readers here have life is better with rusks memories of their own. The GREAT news is that, when youre paying just NIS 9.90 for a box, it feels as if youre paying in Mickey Mouse rands. Note that the rusks have been on special for a couple of weeks, already, and they expire on the 9th June. Getting through a box or two before then shouldnt be a problem though! Remember that when you spend NIS 60 at Meatland, you qualify for one hours free, underground parking. Best excuse I can think of to go wild.
