DISCUSSION TIME! Ok, so Im having a conversation with my sister this morning about dating, marriage, and expectations. She is leaning more to how the Bible describes marriage and a mans role in the relationship, whereas I am about half Bible half our current culture. So Im curious what the general consensus is... As a man OR woman, Christian OR not, what do you expect from your significant other? Lets address these issues specifically: Education i.e. Associates degree/Masters degree); Position at work (i.e. full-time/Manager); Income (i.e. making the same amount/one makes significantly more than the other); Children (i.e. whoever makes less money gets to stay home with them); Faith (i.e. attending church with you); Living situation (i.e. living with parents/owning a home). Topics of discussion are not limited to these items. Im curious where we stand as a society when it comes to the ideal marriage. Ready - GO!
