DISNEY UPDATE 4...day 3...ok the saga continues. Our vacations never go smooth so I decided to chronicle this trip on facebook to give everyone a little peek into our lives none if it is scripted or made up just a brief summary if the days events...as you know we scratched the planned magic kingdom day in favor of a visit to hollywood studios because my old ass is freaking falling apart here and it is what it is. Today started out pretty good we woke up at 6:30am before the alarm in fact, thought for sure we would be at the park for opening but I travel with 3 lovely ladies and to my daughters apparently being awake and being up are two totally different things but we made it to the park just 30min after opening .Now lets take a moment to discuss the backpack!!!!! Now my wife has been on every vacation and she knows how they go so she is ultra prepared. And in her defense we ALWAYS HAVE ANYTHING THAT WE MAY NEED IN THIS BAG. But today I realized that I think maybe thats why my legs feet and now my back and neck are in the shape that they are in. The bag thing is outta control we buy stuff and stick it in the bag we bring more and more supplies everyday...the first days inventory was a digital camera , video camera ,baby wipes, sunblock, and the daily medication for the family. Today I think it contains 15% of walmarts inventory the thing is now massive it contains extra clothing for everyone in case we have rapid climate change because you never know. Empty resort mugs and so much other stuff that you cant find anything not to mention good luck fitting this monster on a ride. It now weighs one third of my total body weight. Phisical conditioning update ...spent 12 hrs in the damn park today carrying a small Winnebago on my back what do you think it is... My calf muscles feel like they have seperated from the bone itself and now that im off of my feet they feel like they have a million ants racing around just beneath the skin. My back and neck are a little sore but not too bad. Lets talk about this magic band thing for a moment....mickey mouse is a brilliant little guy. You see if your hands are full and you wanna buy this or that no problem the good folks at disney are here for you just flick your wrist in front of that mickey head punch in your pin number and its all taken care of for you. You bought too much stuff to carry no problem they will have that item waiting for you in your room when you return at the end of the day....better yet if you bought too much stuff to fit in your car for the return trip the good folks out here will ship that sucker to your doorstep FREE OF CHARGE of course. Now I have a damn stack of receipts big enough that I think more than one tree my have given its life to provide. Im afraid that when I check out im gonna have to take out a 2nd on the house to settle up.!! We got in tower of terror rockin rollercoaster star tours twice the great movie ride Muppets 3D adventures with jack sparrow one mans dream the voyage of the little mermaid and had a fantastic dinner at hollywood and vine..gonna return there again tomorrow to try to catch all of the shows.
