DISPELLING MYTH NUMBER ONE: "He [Zimmerman] was told by 911 not to follow him." FALSE: The exact words were, "We dont need you to do that." Now, I understand that a lot of people are hanging their hats on this phrase alone.. But there is a problem.. FIRST: Zimmerman wasnt talking to 911, he was talking to the NON-emergency line SECOND: Dispatchers are NOT sworn policemen, they cannot give orders, they can only advise you. Meaning, its NOT AGAINST THE LAW to do something opposite of what the dispatcher said. THIRD: He wasnt charged with disobeying or abusing 911 because he wasnt talking on 911... THE END..
