DISTRIBUTION OF SEATS IN NUST Seats offered for Engineering, BS Maths, Art and Business: The total number of seats offered this year for Engineering, BS mathematics, business and architecture were 2247. In these seats 90 seats were for Architecture. 50 seats for Bachelor of Architecture and 40 for Bachelor of Industrial Design. About 250 seats are for business studies. 50 seats for each of the following fields: BS Accounting & Finance, BS Economics, Bachelor of Business Administration, BS Mass Communication, BS Public Administration About 50-100 seats are for BS Mathematics.The remaining seats are for engineering. These are about 1850 seats. These 1850 seats are further divided in for 17 different fields. Seats offered for Medical: For MBBS • 100 for Cadets (Open Seats only for Males through GHQ selection board) • 50 (Open seats for both genders as NUST Students) • 20 (Paying Cadets M/F, first of all the seats are allotted to wards of Army Shuhadah, if the seats are left vacant these are allotted to the wards of war injured still if seats remain these are adjusted for army serving and lastly if the seats remain these are allotted to the wards of retired army officers. All this is based on NUST merit number too) • 30 (Additional Paying Cadets M/F, first of all the seats are allotted to wards of Army Shuhadah, if the seats are left vacant these are allotted to the wards of war injured still if seats remain these are adjusted for army serving and lastly if the seats remain these are allotted to the wards of retired army officers.
