DISTURBING BLAME GAMES IN JERUSALEM Too many people, Ive seen here on Facebook, are looking at the recent terrorism in Jerusalem and choosing to put the blame on Netanyahu and the Israeli Government. To me this is disturbing for several reasons: 1. Lets get it straight. The Cause of terrorism is not Netanyahu. It is Mohammed Abbas and his ilk, the arch terrorists who have directed, financed and encouraged terrorism directly and indirectly for years, and they are responsible for the escalation in Jerusalem today. Hold them responsible. 2. Terrorism is not caused by Netanyahu, nor is it the result of occupation or settlements or Jews trying to have their rightful place on the Temple Mount. Terrorism is the direct result of Arab ambitions and hate. 3. Now, Im not letting the Israeli Government off the hook. The response to Arab violence has been more like the Jews in European Ghettos than that of a free people understanding the enemy. This responding to Arab violence on the Temple Mount by banning Jewish prayer or dealing with violence by Arabs on the roads and in some neighborhoods while making it more difficult for Jews to defend themselves (by being armed) both shows a lack of trust in the people of Israel and a failure to understand the enemys psychology.
