DIVIDENDS Have you ever wondered where those old white ladies who drive around in luxury cars and live in big ass houses get their money? There are neighborhoods in every city that are filled with such woman, and many times it is a black woman who is charged with keeping up their homes. The husbands have long since died and they continue to live large, how is that? The answer to this question is very simple: DIVIDENDS A dividend is a cash payment made to the holder of a share of stock, the dividend payment is usually made every 3 months. The widows husbands purchased stock for decades and when they died, that stock and the dividend was transferred to the survivor, leaving the widow with a lifetime of dividend checks. There will come a time when the little old rich white ladies die, no biggie, the stock holdings and the dividends get passed down to the children, this formula repeats itself generation after generation, this is called GENERATIONAL WEALTH, this is an area where we as black people fail to capitalize. When you get into the world of Investing, the only color that matters is GREEN. We spend our TRILLION + on frivolous material things and THAT is the reason we find ourselves in such dire circumstances. It is your duty as a parent to learn as much as you can about FINANCE and to teach it to your children. The parents are responsible for breaking the chain of poverty and lack of education for their children, no one else.
