DIVINE DIRECTION AND GUIDANCE ARE YOURS “Your word is a lamp - TopicsExpress

DIVINE DIRECTION AND GUIDANCE ARE YOURS “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light for my path.” (Psalm 119:105 NIV) Have you ever found yourself in a place so dark that you didn’t know where to go, and every time you took a step you collided with stuff? Then all you could do was to get the light turned on, because until there was light, there could be no direction. Now, that’s exactly what the Word of God bring to you—divine direction. The Psalmist calls the Word of God—“a lamp for your feet.” That is, the direction you need. The Word of God brings you divine direction at every point in time, showing you where to go. Without direction, you cannot take a step, because any step outside direction leads to frustration. That’s why you must study and meditate on the Word of God more than ever. You see, as God’s child, the direction for your life is located in God’s Word. As you read and meditate on it, suddenly, the answers to your questions show up, and you’d just know what to do. Divine direction is available to you today! Hallelujah! What a blessing! The Message Translation of this verse is just amazing! It reads: “By your words I can see where I’m going; they throw a beam of light on my dark path.” Praise the Lord! This highlights another truth in this verse, that is: “God’s word is the light for your path.” That means “Guidance” is supplied from the Word. Thus God’s Word shows you “how” to arrive at your destination. So not only would you know from God’s Word “where” to go, but the Lord will also show you “how” to get there when you begin the journey. That’s why I love the Word, for with the Word we are sure to shine in life. Glory to God! Prayer: Dear Holy Spirit, I celebrate your ministry in my life. Thank you for making the Word of God so real to me. I’m a living proof that the Word works. Now I know how to obtain divine direction and how to be guided by you in life. Therefore, I journey in preordained pathways of success and ever-increasing glory in Jesus Name. Amen. Further Insight: Psalm 32:8; Isaiah 58:11 Study Plan: Job 39-40
