If not live long enough and you will. For some even the best of days has errors in it that qualify for being inexcusable and at the very least they bare a close resemblance of functional rightness. As I was waiting on the flow of the Holy Spirit to lead me in the direction I should go with this weeks sermon message I kept returning to the word Righteousness. I have always thought of this word righteousness to be an interesting three in one word - Right – being in accordance with what is just, good, or proper Righteous - acting in accord with divine or moral law : free from guilt or sin Righteousness - the quality of being morally right or justifiable This is what the bible says about righteousness - Righteousness will guard him whose way is blameless (Prov. 13:6) Righteousness is the pathway of Wisdom (Prov. 8:20); Righteousness is what we learn here on earth from Gods judgments (Isa. 26:9); Righteousness is profitable and beneficial training found in all scripture (2 Tim. 3:16) As I settled down and began to put my sermon thoughts together I looked at the life of Abram and found some important truths that I would like to share with you – to give you some significant reasons to appreciate the righteous life we are all called to live.
