DLCC meeting held at Baramulla [tma] BARAMULLA, : Consequent upon special meeting of District Level Consultative Committee (DLCC) the credit plan of the district Baramulla amounting to Rs. 822 crore has been revised to tune of Rs.1229 crore for the fiscal 2013-14. The meeting was presided over by District Development Commissioner, Baramulla, Mr. Ghulam Ahmad Khawaja. The meeting was told that J&K Bank TP Baramulla has been designated as Nodal Branch for the purpose of Electronic Benefit Transfer Scheme. In the meeting, it was decided that the Nodal departments shall provide the list of beneficiaries of the district to be enrolled along with demographic details to the lead banks and Lead District Offices. The meeting was informed by the Lead Bank Officer that the district has recorded an achievement of 80 percent under the district credit plan of 2012-13. All the line departments and financial institutions were directed to gear up so that the set targets are achieved and eradication of poverty, employment generation and upliftment of the status economy be ensured in the district. The District Development Commissioner stressed up on the financial institutions, line, allied and sponsored departments and agencies to work in a cohesive and coordinated manner so that the beneficiaries can avail the incentives without any inconvenience. He asked all the sponsoring agencies and financial institutions to work together with dedication and co-ordination so that common goals of progress, prosperity, eradication of poverty and unemployment are achieved.
