DLRC meeting held at Budgam MT News Service Budgam, December 30: The 50th DLRC meeting of district Budgam was held under the chairmanship of Additional District Development Commissioner Budgam here today. The Lead District Manager Budgam informed the meeting about the rehabilitation measures being taken up for flood affected people besides highlighting achievements made by banks in opening accounts under various schemes in the district. The Chairman DLRC appreciated the banks on achieving 78.68% current deposit ratio in the district. He said that banks operative in the district have disbursed an amount of Rs. 232.97 crore under Priority and Non Priority sectors against the target of Rs. 487.95 crore till September 30, 2014. The Chairman stressed upon the sponsoring agencies and line departments for release of subsidies and interest subsides in time. He also directed the financial institutions to dispose off the cases of beneficiaries expeditiously. The ADDC directed the concerned officers to achieve the targets in order to assist the educated unemployed youth of the district in establishing their own income generating units.
