DLSA, Mohali celebrated Legal Services Day at Paragaon School MOHALI 8 November (JATINDER SABHARWAL) : Today, District Legal Services Authority, Mohali in collaboration with of Consumer Protection Association, Mohali celebrated Legal Services Day at Paragaon School, Sector 69, Mohali. A Legal Awareness camp was organised on the eve of Legal Services Day, which falls on 09.11.2014. This information has been given to media person by Tarntaran Singh Bindra, Chief Judicial Magistrate cum Secretary of District Legal Services Authority, Mohali. In this camp, provisions related to Legal Services Authority Act, Consumer Protection Act and various schemes of Punjab Legal Services Authority, were told in details to public present there by speakers namely Tirlochan Singh from District Legal Services Authority, Mohali and Archna from Beauro of Indian Standard, Chandigarh. The relevant literature, concerning above, was also distributed among participants. This camp was organised jointly by District Legal Services Authority, Mohali and Consumer Protection Association, Mohali, wherein Gurdeep Singh (President), Satvir Singh Dhanoa (Chairman), Karam Singh Mavi (G.Secretary), Bhupinder Tiwana and ND Arora of this Association contributed a lot. The speakers requested public to be aware of their rights and to contact District Legal Services Authority, Mohali in case of any violation thereof either by personally going there or by dialing Toll Free Help Line Number 1968 of Punjab Legal Services Authority which is available 24X7.
