DLT finally breaks from average and goes...below average Welp, last week I was complaining about hitting my average for the past couple weeks. The NFL Gods saw fit to rectify that by slamming me with a 7-7 50% week. My biggest concern with the picks were my upset specials, 0 for 3 last week and now Ive missed on 8 straight. My last correct upset special was in Week 7. Sooner or later I have to break that string, right? Anywho, on to Week 12. Last Week: 7-7 50% Upset Specials: 0-3 Season: 97-64 60% Upset Specials: 5-16 24% Byes: Steelers, Panthers Thursday Night Chiefs 30, Raiders 17 - This is a dangerous game for KC. Going to the Black hole during a night game takes your life into your own hands, especially since Raider fans are angry at their teams winless record. KC fans - DO NOT GO TO THIS GAME. Sunday Upset Special #1 Browns 27, Falcons 20 - Atlanta can only beat their NFC South brethren. Eagles 30, Titans 13 - Last week Mark Sanchez looked like the guy who butt fumbled. Good thing the Flaming Thumbtacks come in to help him get back on track. Patriots 24, Lions 17 - Brady at home = victory. The Lions may be better but theyre still the Lions, on the road, in November. Packers 30, Vikings 20 - Minnesota is at home playing outdoors in late November...its how football should be played. Colts 30, Jaguars 13 - Thankfully for the Jags, they have their QB. They just need everything else. Bengals 23, Texans 13 - Houston got the surprise win last week but the Bengals appear to be coming out of their funk. Bills 27, Jets 17 - Lots of snow in Buffalo. Also, Rain is wet. Fire is hot. Upset Special #2 - Buccaneers 27, Bears 20 - I know, every Buc fan on this site is screaming NOOO! Dont jinx us. The way I look at it, Lovies team is going to ball out for their coach and I have to get one of these right at some point. Hey draftnik, stop dancing a jig with your Mariota jersey on. You dont know, I could get this one right! Thats why they play the games! Seahawks 27, Cardinals 20 - The smoke-and-mirrors of the Cards continue to perplex. I just dont see how they can face the 12th man with Drew Stanton and come out with a victory. Chargers 20, Rams 10 - St. Louis shocked the world with an upset of Denver but it looks like the Chargers have righted their ship. Broncos 30, Dolphins 17 - PEYTON MAD, PEYTON SMASH! Hes been getting mad a lot this season. 49ers 17, Washington 10 - Washingtons dysfunctional side show hits the road. The Niners havent exactly been impressive but its all about the Ws. Sunday Night Cowboys 30, Giants 17 - Eli Manning is doing his darndest to make sure he tarnishes his legacy. Two super bowls? Great. But when Eli is bad...hes really really bad.
