DMA. 311214. 2011 friends, on the horizon of the new year 2015, i wish to share with you a story - After we started the daily 3pm DIVINE MERCY DEVOTION community prayer at St Peters Church in June 2010, many people are drawn to Christ, many come back to Church after a long absent.... 40 YEARS IS VERY SOON When a young Policeman was married in Church, Fr Harry asked him when was he going to be baptised? He answered Very Soon. That very soon was to be 40 years later, in 2011 he was finally baptised after Paul Voon gave him some RCIA instructions. And he felt a little guilty as 40 years is not really very soon by any standard. When he shared with Eileen his story after DMD today, he felt a weight was lifted off his shoulder when Eileen told him that very soon to different people can mean different time period, to him very soon is 40 years... God was tracking him, he never got out of range of God, just like him a Policeman, people never escaped when he tracked them. My friends , 40 years is not a long time in the Salvation History but IS A LONG TIME for a person, let us not be away too long as ABSENT MEMBERS... We pray that your very soon will be really soon.
