DNF at Hope Pass aid station, my first ever. Missed the cutoff by mere minutes. I dug deep but wasnt fast enough. Id be lying if I said I wasnt totally bummed now after working through rough patches and making it to Twin Lakes with time to spare, and my wonderful crew of Tom Ela, Ben Hauschulz, Angela Johnson, and Emma-Emma-Leigh Larsen has already banned me from saying I let them down and didnt keep up my end of the deal. But were getting food, some of us are going over to watch early finishers (theres no crying in trail running today), and I will be back to get it right next year since I didnt this time. Thank you to all of you who encouraged, supported or given me been there, done that advice on the LT100. And congrats to my friends who were looking awesome out there, I am rooting for you!
