DO CLEAN-UP DRIVE Section 1.18 of the Student Handbook (SH) - TopicsExpress

DO CLEAN-UP DRIVE Section 1.18 of the Student Handbook (SH) provides that: The University acknowledges the right of the student to equal access to available campus space. Benches and tables in campus meant for students shall be accessible to all who wish to use them on a principle of right by physical presence. It is understood that students will occupy only the space they need. No permanent “reservation right” is acknowledged by the University. The Student Discipline Formation Office (SDFO), in coordination with other units in the University, is conducting a clean-up drive at random where bags, books and other personal belongings of students left unattended in study areas and other areas within the University are brought to the SDFO Lost and Found Section for safekeeping and inventory. With this clean-up drive, more students will be given equal access to the limited campus space and minimize or eradicate losses inside the University. As provided for in Section 5.3.2.3 of the SH, “Disobeying school regulations and other rules - Leaving Things Unattended” is a MINOR OFFENSE.
