You will need a basic photo editing software program, however, even MS Word can be used with a few special steps; and, you can spend a little more an create a larger wedding favor photo bookmark. My standard size photo bookmark is 2 inches wide by 6 inches tall. Once the photo bookmark has been designed and completed I copy and paste it as a duplicate right next to the original to create a 4 inch by 6 inch print. Then I upload it to my favorite photo lab for printing. I have the print made with a matte finish that works well for avoiding fingerprints. If you would like, you can have the print laminated, however, I have found using a good quality print paper, such as Kodak Gold or E-Surface works fine since it is thick enough to be sturdy by itself. I then cut the print vertically in two to produce two photo bookmarks. I use a photo paper cutter, but a pair of sharp scissors will work fine too. You can use a single 2 inch by 2.5 inch photo on the top of the photo bookmark and then write a special thank you note for your guests on the bottom.
