DO MORE GOOD DEEDS AND REFRAIN FROM ALL SINS!! Rasulullah Sallallaahu alayhi Wasallam said: “The dead person is followed (to his grave) by three: His family, his wealth and his actions. Two of them return and only one remains. His family and wealth return, but his actions remain.” ~ Related by Al-Bukhari and Muslim. The only thing man can take in his Qabr (Grave) with him, are his ‘deeds’. If it was good it will benefit him. If it was evil it will cause him harm in his grave. So, if we want to be rewarded by Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala, then we have to bring good deeds into our lives. Whatever good actions a person does : Salaat, Zakaat, Hajj, Umrah, I’tikaaf, Roza, Akhlaaq, Zikr, Tilawat of the Quraan, Duas, Charity, Kindness, Generosity, Affection, Hospitality are all Al Baaqiyaatus Sawlehaat (good righteous, remaining deeds) ============= Ponder!! Death addressing us: You will be snatched away from your beloved, its not going to be done politely. ============= Abu Ayoob radhiyallahu anhu narrates that whenever I offered Salaah behind Rasullullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam, I heard him saying this Du‘a after completing his Salaah: “O Allah! Forgive all my mistakes and sins. O Allah! Uplift me, and correct my shortcomings, and guide me towards good deeds and excellent manners; no one except You can guide towards good, nor turn away from evil.” (Tabarani, Majma’uz-Zawaid) ================ Ruwaibah radhiyallahu anhu narrates: I heard Rasullullah Sallallahu alaihi wasallam saying:“Undoubtedly he will not enter Hell-Fire, who has offered Salaah before the rising of the sun, and before its setting; that is Fajr and Asr.” (Muslim) ============== Punishment of a Liar: Narrated Anas: There was a Christian who embraced Islam and read Surat-al-Baqara and Al-Imran, and he used to write (the revelations) for Nabi صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ . Later on he returned to Christianity again and he used to say: Muhammad knows nothing but what I have written for him. Then Allah caused him to die, and the people buried him, but in the morning they saw that the earth had thrown his body out. They said, This is the act of Muhammad and his companions. They dug the grave of our companion and took his body out of it because he had run away from them. They again dug the grave deeply for him, but in the morning they again saw that the earth had thrown his body out. They said, This is an act of Muhammad and his companions. They dug the grave of our companion and threw his body outside it, for he had run away from them. They dug the grave for him as deep as they could, but in the morning they again saw that the earth had thrown his body out. So they believed that what had befallen him was not done by human beings and had to leave him thrown (on the ground). -Source: Sahih Al Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 56, Number 814. ====================== If those without children complained about not having children, those with only boys complained about not having girls, those with only girls complained about not having boys and those with both complained about how much of a handful they are, then who is going to show gratitude & satisfaction with the Divine Decree of the Almighty? O OUR MOST BELOVED ALLAH, we seek refuge in YOU from committing an error or sin, which will earn YOUR Wrath ... ... O OUR CHERISHER, we seek refuge in YOU from the feebleness of old age ... ... O OUR RAHEEM ALLAH, guide us to the best of deeds and the best of morals, as none can guide to the best accept YOU ... ... O OUR KAREEM ALLAH, save us from all bad deeds as none can save us from what is bad except YOU ... ... O OUR MOST GIVING ALLAH, strenghten our faith, expand our Islamic knowledge and bless us in our livelihood ... ... O. OUR ALLAH, we seek refuge in YOU from disbelief, wickedness, vanity and show; and we seek refuge in YOU from blindness, deafness and all diseases ... Ya Allah, grant ease and relief to those that are suffering and oppressed throughout the world... ... O ALLAH, we ask YOU to bless us, protect us, have mercy on us, forgive us, guide us on the path of Siraatul Mustaqeem and accept this duaa of ours, آمِيْن يَارَبَّ الْعَالَمِينْ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ Subhaanarabbika Rabbil Izzati Amma Yassifoon Wassalaamun Alal Mursaleen Walhumdulillahir Rabbil Aalameen ============
