Our very funny Nigerian govt. were last week celebrating the U.S / U.N financial aid of $5 Billion dollar to aid government development programs with our government providing a support fund of another $5 billion dollars as take-off capital. Now ds phony financial aids are fraudulent. And it is done to create Jobs outside European nations and on foreign soils that are non-taxable : but a steady pipeline of Huge dollars back to the sponsoring country. Here is how it is carried out: Foreign Western countries like d U.S, carries out feasibility studies of certain development problems in another country. They then offer to help by sponsoring a solution through Joint-Financing. With the country like Nigeria providing 50% of d finance in dollars, While they provide the other 50%, but in non-liquid form. In ds case they provide the technical experts as well as the technology, all imported. every payment is made to foreign accounts by our country. yet while in our country, d Government is made to pay their allowances or inconveniences. The only Nigerians that are privileged to work with these foreigners are only trained to observe, not use, maintain, repair of upgrade these technologies. In the end the only Cash that crosses the table is that from the Nigerian government to foreign accounts. All our govt. can boast of is the value of the technology as foreign Direct Investment. Nothing else. then the foreign payments begin to increase annually in different guises like maintenance Costs, repairs, Salaries, foreign trips etc. all to foreign accounts. Eventually the total cost of the project will run to over $60 billion before it is retired. Then they will come with another proposal and technology. the other is regarded as obsolete, and a new scheme begins. With over 90% of the money paid to the foreign country. most of the remaining 10% is left back in Nigeria. some of them as bribes to top govt. Officials and d rest as salaries 4 d local Nigerian staff. Western countries continue to grow rich, while the fortunes of d dependent African countries like ours continue to dwindle. What an Amazing World!
