DO NOT BELIEVE the media reports making a joke of last weeks - TopicsExpress

DO NOT BELIEVE the media reports making a joke of last weeks Arnab-Rahul Gandhi interview. It is a biased opinion without merit. Ive watched the whole interview (80 mins) & I feel that Rahul Gandhi (RG) held his own & did well given the poor questions asked of him by Arnab Goswami. Arnab did a very poor job of asking substantive questions of RG - about the real things that affect India. Where were the policy questions, Arnab? What are your plans to open the political system including selecting candidates, fight corruption, transform infrastructure, education, empowering the masses, making India a manufacturing giant, economic policy, foreign policy, etc.? Arnab forgot that India is a democracy & systemic change can happen only from the ground up, when the MAJORITY of Indian people (including youth & women) have been empowered through education, political processes (RTI, Lokpal, Aadhar, grassroot representation, candidate selection processes, policy making process, etc.), etc. Real change is inclusive & bottom up, not top down. Change takes time, particularly when there are substantive issues to change - it does not happen when RG or NaMo or Kejriwal waves a magic wand! Hopefully Indians wake up & force ALL their politicians to hold themselves to higher standards. RG CHOSE NOT TO walk away from subjecting himself to Indian politics, as did his father. In his own way, RG is incrementally changing the system & I can respect that. If any Indian wants to do any better, roll up your sleeves & get into politics - join the Congress Party, AAP or BJP. I respect those who throw themselves into politics to serve their country. I respect RG, Kejriwal and all those who are NOT POWER HUNGRY & working to dismantle a corrupt system for a better India... Go India!
