DO NOT BUY HARD DRIVE FROM COMPUTER HIGH TECH, Let me explain, 10th of May a client wanted a hard drive for his system, we ended up buying a 400GB from computer high tech for around $12,000. The tech guy did some useless test to show me that the drive is detecting on the computer. Up on taking the drive home to install for the client, I decided to do a S.M.A.R.T test on the drive TO FIND OUT THAT IT HAS BEEN __USED__ FOR 2.2 YEARS, and Powered on for over 1000 times. I immediately called Computer High Tech the tech guy was surprised I found this out and decided to EXCHANGE the drive for a __NEW__ 500GB Hard Drive. Today I went to the Computer High Tech to Exchange the drive, the tech guy was to tell me I have to pay additional for the 500GB, He first LIED to me saying the drive will be exchange at no cost previously. I told him I AM NOT PAYING FOR A NEW DRIVE; I then decided to go with a lower capacity drive 320GB, after doing ANOTHER S.M.A.R.T test on the drive it has been used for 2.0 Years, I did a test on the 500GB, IT WAS ALSO USED!!!! I got very frustrated and ask him, HOW CAN YOU NOT KNOW HOW TO CHECK IF THE DRIVES ARE USED he said How am I suppose to know how to check it. I GIVE UP, NEVER BUY FROM COMPUTER HIGH TECH Computer High Tech_ Guyana a.k.a Computer _USED_ Tech!
