DO NOT reply to the following phone number should you be contacted by it. (EightHundred) Niner22-Zero233!!! Fake Verizon phishing scam. They increased the bait amount. They call sequential numbers simultaneously. This is not a telemarketer; criminals trying to steal your login info do not care if you are on the do not call list. One tip-off is that they specifically ask you to login to their fake verizon account. I would not recommend visiting the page because the IP address of your device may be recorded and that could give them enough info to take their attempts to a higher and more sophisticated level...they would know where you are and may be able to get your name depending on how your IP is registered. They have autodialers calling large blocks of sequential numbers. Those that answer get the computer read message. It is not too sophisticated since the computer voice is a low-end text reader. This could be run from a basic PC. Please, help get the word out that Verizon (and other providers) will NEVER have a customer log into any site other than their direct site.
