DO YOU HAVE INFORMATION ON STAPLEFORD BURGLARY? An elderly man has been the victim of a distraction burglary in Stapleford, Notts. The incident happened on Thursday 27 November at about 1pm. Three offenders went to the address on West Avenue, telling the homeowner that they were there to repair the guttering. While one thief took the 86-year-old victim outside, the other two went inside and stole money. One offender is described as white, around 55-years-old, 5’9” tall, of stocky build, with short, grey hair, facial stubble. He wore scruffy clothes and spoke with an Irish accent.
