DO YOU KNOW HOW TO KEEP A SECRET? LOOK IT UP IN YOUR KJV BIBLE... THE WORD SECRET... Look that word up in your concordance. Then look up security (secure). Then look up private (privacy). Then look at the hebrew and greek... then look them up in the dictionary. Privacy: The thing all of the internet companies are promising you... even the government (they are truly concerned about your privacy you know). That means feeling secure when you are alone... when you want to be in a private place. Security: The thing hardly ANY internet companies will guarantee, promise you. You know why? Because it would give you PRIVACY. If you have a secure place on the internet... where nobody can get in your back door and nobody can get into the companies (banks etc.) that you are trusting to protect you, they would give you a GUARANTEE! You know a promise to protect you. Just call your bank and ask them to put in writing that they will protect you from fraudulent activity against you. Call your credit card companies, call your webmasters, call eBay, call Yahoo, call GoDaddy... bla bla bla... anybody you do business with online and ASK THEM TO PUT THEIR GUARANTEE IN WRITING! You just keep accepting every agreement they make you agree to and promise you nothing! You cannot live without FB anymore... right... so you hit accept every time they send you a 20-page agreement to update YOUR promises to them. What is that promise? Did you even bother to read the 20-page agreement... CAN you read really well... do you understand legal terminology? Did you promise them your land, your children, your pets, your savings account, your retirement? WHAT did you accept? What are they guaranteeing you? My bank and credit cards tell me they will protect me from any fraudulent activity on my accounts. Hmmmm, well what percentage of fraudulent activity do you incur from all 2 billions of your accounts? How often do you get hacked and my private information is compromised? Do you just send me a NEW credit/debit card in the mail and insist that I activate it? How were you compromised? Did somebody get my SS#, address, phone number, mothers maiden name, favorite teachers name, pets name, my password, my favorite food... bla bla bla... how long will you promise me that this private-stolen information wont be used against me? (Primarily because you do not have good security). You know like my identity being stolen maybe... (the #1 growing crime in America)... How much money do you promise me.... a million dollars? PLEASE just tell me NOW Bank of America... can you protect me, will you stand behind me, will you guarantee my deposits, do you have the best security possible to protect me? You make me pay $5 a month just to mail me a hard copy of my statement... I almost have no option but to go paperless (save the trees and save $5). Use to get those statements FREE! Call and ask these questions to EVERY company you do business with online.... (good luck with the 30 minute hold)... See if they dont tell you that they can promise you NOTHING!
