DO YOU KNOW WHO’S THE REAL WINNER ?? The whole Philippines are celebrating when Megan Lynne Young proclaimed Miss World 2013. This innocent lady probably has no idea of what’s happening behind the scene, or are you? The whole world watched as the most beautiful women represented their respected country paraded their beauty and perfect body shape in two piece in quest to be crowned the most beautiful and talented woman in the entire world! Filipinos leaped for joy in their seats when her name was pronounced! Many of the proud Filipinos were in tears, people sent messages on FB, texts, tweeter, e-mails, etc expressing their emotions of pride. Miss Megan Lynne Young was indeed a proud Filipina, to be crowned the most beautiful woman in the world!! But is she really the winner? If not, who is? The Bible will tell us who is the real winner: 1. First of all, displaying the nakedness (flesh) in public eyes is abomination to the Lord. God did not change the moral standard He requires from His children (read about nakedness - Leviticus 18). v.6 “None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am the LORD.” v.18 “Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, neither shalt thou take her son’s daughter, or her daughter’s daughter, to uncover her nakedness; for they are her near kinswomen: it is wickedness”. 2. Secondly, woman’s beauty and nakedness is only reserve for her husband. Genesis 2: 18 “And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.” v.24 “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.” Ephesians 5:24 “Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.” 3. The kings and princes’ of the oil rich countries, the business tycoons were watching to bid for the price no matter how much the cost is. These beauties maybe ignorantly un-aware that they are stepping into glamorous high profile prostitution as they parade their bodies to the worlds eye for sale. This kind of event happened in the Old Testament when the kings choose young virgins to be their wives, concubines and sevants. During the time of Ester (Esther 2), she was paraded along with other virgins for king Ahasuerus to choose from. 4. Today, it’s much more different in style, but the same moral implication and sin in the eyes of God. Big businesses that sell branded products like beauty kits, lingerie, swim and under wears, expensive watches and garments, film industries, etc. are fighting to hock her in to their camps. Her popularity will make their products popular and bring in big bucks to their companies. Christians were told not to support it neither nor associate with it: Ephesians 5:11 “And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.” Christians were told to present their bodies a living sacrifice (not to display it for the world) holy, for God! Romans 12:1-2. “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” 5. It is a passing glory for temporary use that Satan had mastered. The devil is a cunning deceiver (Revelation 12:9). He manipulated the system of this world to conform to his scheme (2 Corinthians 4:3,4). His scheme is that the world will become blind to the truth of who God is and what His will to for us. And after they are no longer useful to his evil empire in this world, they just drop them for their own destruction. 6. Many beauty pageant winners lived in a miserable life when their beauties were no longer appealing to the world. Some were not able to maintain their status in life and turned to high profile prostitution, many have experienced several divorces in their marriage life. Many had marital and family problems. 7. Their beauty, high profile status, glory and fame faded away. Spiritual and moral value is lost. Satan, the author of sin is the only winner!!! May the Lord Jesus through the Holy Spirit open the mind of this innocent victim of the devil. Let us pray for their souls. Pass this message for Jesus’ sake.
