DO YOU LOVE ME? IS THE HONEYMOON OVER? đRevelation 2:3-5 I know you are enduring patiently and bearing up for my names sake, and you have not grown weary. But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent.đ The Lord says if you love Him, you will do as He commands. If you love Him, you will feed and tend to His sheep. If you love Him, you would spend time with Him. If you love Him, you would love what He loves which is everyone and hate what He hates which is sin and evil. If you love Him, you would trust and believe in Him. If you love Him, you would be faithful to Him. Some of Godâs childrenâs passion for the Lord is lacking. Some like to call it đlukewarm Christianity.đ What happened to you, Godâs children? Some were once so passionate in their work for the Lord, in meditating and reading the word, in going to church, in prayer, with your praise, worship and ministry, in sharing the gospel/good news, but now some barely serve the Lord. The fervency, passion, light and fire has diminished. Some have forgotten what God has done and can only focus on things that keep them in despair. They have forgotten how the Lord loves them, cares and laid down His life. The Lord desires that you get back to that place when you were closer to Him, spending time with Him, mirroring Him, living for Him and it was all about Him and not you. Whatever it is that has taken you away, that has divided your loving attention, whether itâs your sin, own desires, family/friends, man/woman, job, pride, etc., itâs time to repent, let go and to again make the Lord your priority. Our God is a jealous God and we must choose Him and love Him because if we donât, it sickens Him and He will do as His word says which is eventually remove the light and allow only the darkness to remain. Falling in love and staying in love with Jesus is the best thing you can ever do. The Lord is asking you âDo you Love Me?â Rekindle that fiređ„!!!
