DO YOU NEED ENCOURAGEMENT? In the past you have encouraged many people; you have strengthen those who were weak. Your words have supported those who were falling; you encouraged those shaky knees. But now when trouble strikes you lose heart...(Job 4:3-5,NLT) People who mostly encourage others when they are down, can find it hard getting others to encourage them when they also face challenges. The mistake most people do is that, they always expect the very people they have encouraged, to also reciprocate. And most often than not, they get disappointed either because those people never show up or dont meet their expectation. The truth is that, not everyone has been gifted to encourage. It is a whole ministry and so lets save ourselves the trouble and stop taking offence. Sometimes when you are down, you must learn to encourage yourself in the Lord. If others come in, all the better. If they dont life still goes on, but never be disappointed. You can help yourself out and be strong. Be encouraged!
