DO YOU THINK YOU WILL ACHIEVE IT WITHOUT GOD? Shall the ax boast itself against him who chops with it? Or shall the saw exalt itself against him who saws with it? As if a rod could wield itself against those who lift it up. Or as if a staff could lift up, as if it were not wood! Isaiah 10:15. Beloved, God is talking to you in this new year. He is saying that He is the one that can make you what you will become this year. He said, shall an ax boast by itself against him who uses it to chop wood? The answer is No! No matter how you have planned for this year, laid down you resolutions for this year without involving God, you will not go far in it. Your business plan, your knowledge, strength, may not really give you what you want if you dont ask God to be in charge. You cant be in front of the race and leave your God behind. There is no way you will succeed. So, begin with the Lord this new year, commit all your plans to Him and He will work with you. He will use you as an instrument to achieve your goals. So, beloved, you cant achieve anything without God. Work with Him this year and you will be glad you did. Grace!
