DOES HANDLING OF STAFF AFFECT THE CORPORATE IMAGE AND PERHAPS - TopicsExpress

DOES HANDLING OF STAFF AFFECT THE CORPORATE IMAGE AND PERHAPS COMPETITIVE MARKET POSITIONING? Many companies have not projected the implication of staff management practices in the market to the target business goals. In fact there is a disconnect between staff satisfaction and potential benefits in the market. This is even worse when one considers what employers do to staff who leave the companies that work for. Even the most resourceful staff does not get the best send off from their employers. Not withstanding that employees exist to join potential business partners and clients, excessive exits may affect the corporate images. A recruiter who receives at least an application for every job advertised from one specific employer has the grounds to be concerned about such an employer. Other things that characterize doubtful employment practices include non issuance of recommendation letters, shallow and standard recommendation letter. To have been able to employ someone should mean that there were specific things about that person that one can appreciate. Standard recommendation letters that do not demonstrate any specific distinction in an employee’s performance could be disadvantageous. Employers should introduce systems that help to continuously identify employee milestones, achievements and other performance attributes. This can be in the form of tailored or standard recognition letters which should be issued to staff and consolidated into the final recommendation letters.
