DOING EVERYTHING POSSIBLE....... John 4 verses 31- 36 IN THE MEAN WHILE HIS DISCIPLES PRAYED HIM SAYING, MASTER EAT. BUT HE SAID UNTO THEM I HAVE A MEAT TO EAT THAT YOU KNOW NOT OF. VS 33 , MY MEAT IS TO DO THE WILL OF HIM THAT SENT ME , AND TO FINISH HIS WORK. Jesus Christ was obviously hungry at this time. He also understand the purpose of His coming to the world. when the disciples came, He refused to eat because He wanted to finish the work. untill you finish your assignment on earth and fulfill it , you have not done anything. to Him , he would do everything possible to finish this work. Colossianns 4v17 says and say to Archipus, take heed of your miniistry of the Lord and finish it. whatever it will cost you to do your God giving assignment, you just have to do. doing everything possible is important. we must always consider the following when trying to do everything possible; 1, Consider the time factor..... verse 35, say not there are four months,and then comes harvest? behold , i say unto you , lift up your eyes and look on the fields for they are ready for harvest. He said , the night comes when no man can work. we should learn to appreciate time more than ever before. psalm 90 verse 12. teach us to number our days.... when you consider the time factor it will always motivate you to do everything possible. remember to Esther, she was raised up for that time. we must understand that your days are numbered and failure to measure your time will affect your decisions. the bible says today is the acceptable time today is the day of salvation . 2,Know your mission. what most people have failed to do in life is understanding their work. to Jesus He must work the work. everybody knows is His mission and His work. until you know your work , people cannot know you. what i s your mission? 3, be accountable........ Jesus though HeIs God is always conscious of His father . most minister of the Gospel, Christians , parents and leaders are not accountable to anybody. He was diven by the fear he has for His father. when you find it difficult to be accountable to God or anybody God has place over you , it will be difficult to do everything possible. 4, finally, be disciplined .... Jesus was not bothered by the food as he knows we can always eat. this was not the first time Jesus would be rejecting his food. He once told the devil this . we must be disciplined not to be carried away from our primary assignments. worldly pleasures, friends can also be the meet. our parentscan also be an hinderance .you must avoid all these so that we can do the impossible!
