DOING WHAT GOD HAS CALLED YOU TO DO! God called a young man named Gideon in the book of Judges and sent him to deliver Israel from the Midianites (Judges 6). It was hard for Gideon to accept but he eventually did and became a hero. Are You afraid? Often what God calls us to do is not popular, so we delay it, or even bury it in our heart. Just like Gideon we may feel so inadequate, unworthy or incapable that we look for someone else to go. Its Time: The vision is not for tomorrow. Its now! Stop hiding under someone elses vision when God spoke clearly to you what you must do. Package and Posture: In the moment of Gideons fear the angel told him, “I will be with you, and you will strike down all the Midianites together Judges 6:16 That statement gave Gideon posture. It repackaged him. I dont seek human input when I am certain I have Gods voice. When Gods voice called me to ministry I didnt seek expert advice, when Gods voice sent me to seminary I didnt ask for human opinion, even though it came it could not stop me. Gods Voice for Revival! God did not call me to dance in the rain, or shadow box. He called me to ignite spiritual awakening. He called me to awake his church from complacency. The time has come for a great awakening dont be left out.
