DONATE OLD/USED CHILDREN SHOES Dear all, There is a small village in Timor-Leste called Laleia, located around 80km east of the capital Dili. The village has a child care center with 45 children aged between 5-8 years old. Many of the children do not have shoes for daily use, especially for sports classes. It is my birthday coming up on the 6th of April and to celebrate I would like to ask all my friends to consider to donating your childs old/used shoes to under–priveliged children in Timor-Leste. If you are a parent and you have any shoes that your son or daughter does not use anymore, but are still in good condition, please donate them. Your donation would be greatly appreciated. I would like to ask also for a $10 donation to support the shipping costs. That $10 will include a sausage sizzle and a bottle of water for you at the drop off. DROP OFF: On the 6th April we will be at North Beach, Surf Club (northern side) and shoes can be dropped off between 9-11am. A sausage sizzle and a water will be ready for you. If you would like to donate but cant drop them off on this day, I will come to you and pick them up.
