Also, and in a more significant way, it is a means to form and inculcate among the young learners, young John Paulinians, the important values taught by the Good Book - of sharing, being in solidarity, caring for others especially the needy, being transparent, and being accountable, among all others. Theres no other way to teach these young minds - words, as we know wouldnt suffice anymore. We need model-doers, men and women for others, not verbose and eloquent model-speakers lost in themselves. We have packed some of the goods that have already been donated the last three days including the 15 sacks of rice we have purchased yesterday afternoon using the donated cash from various friends, here and abroad whose names have been posted earlier. VERY IMPORTANT: We would like to purchase soap, candles and matches for the victims since the areas we will be visiting wont have any electricity in the next 6months.
