DONATIONS NEEDED NOW .. URGENTLY by Monday this family will be virtually out of money and its another weekend when the banks are closed on Monday too so anything sent after today wont clear till after then .. please if you can give then do so tonight so I can send it before I leave for the night .. even just a small donation will help We are looking for help for them ... Tony has rang about some so called affordable housing he found on the internet but was told you needed an income of $3000 a month to qualify and that there was a 3 year waiting list by the 2 that he managed to get through to . He has also made unsuccessful enquiries about some medic aid or something today . We have someone trying to find them a local advocate that can help them try and access services , and have a few other things to try . So we are trying to get them help and get them out of this but we need to keep them safe in their room whilst it is all sorted out . Tony is very worried about his brother who has had a cough in the evening since before Christmas . Hes very worried that it will get worse if they are out on the streets . He is also terrified that they will have no protection from other people that take advantage of and abuse the vulnerable if they are out there too . They always had the car to stay in before that kept them safe from the outside but they wont have that now ... hes very very scared that next week that could be their reality . Tony has stood by his learning disabled brother , father and 2 little dogs through so much . He could so easily of put his dad and brother in care and took his dogs to the nearest shelter so many times because of what they were going through , BUT HE DID NOT . Through it all he cared for them all on his own with no one to turn to for help . He went through losing his dad to repeated bouts of pneumonia and has gone through losing both his elderly dogs and given a home to a new younger dog whilst facing being homeless and having to live in their car on the streets for part of each month . Now they dont have that option even as their car had to be scrapped when it became too expensive for them to have essential repairs done to it . Now they try and cling onto their hotel room with our help and could be only about a week from walking the streets with no where to go . Your donation could stop this from happening to them .. if enough give then we can keep them safe that bit longer and give them some hope back .
