DONATIONS NEEDED URGENTLY! We have scrambled to pull several more kitties from Devore: Momma Dido and her kittens, Leopold, Rainier, Wrenn and Merle. These 8 have pushed us right up to 100 cats saved by the KD team for the month of June. The month isnt even half over yet and there are so many more who will need out in the final two weeks of the month of June. We have kittens who were pulled over the last two months who are now ready for their vetting - which includes sterilization, vaccines, deworming, health exams, snap testing for FeLV and FIV. We had 4 kittens who got very sick earlier this month to the tune of $1200 in vet bills. We have 3 FIV+ kitties with various issues that have cost us over $2000 in medical expenses. Add all this to the cost of rescue pull fees, transports and basic vetting for the 100 cats pulled this month and... well, simply put, we need help with funding in a BIG way. We know everyone is happy when the kitties are saved but there is a cost to rescue work - and its not cheap. We could really use your help to continue our rescue efforts for the cats weve rescued who are now safely out of the shelter as well as those who are waiting to be rescued. Every little bit helps - because we really cannot do what we do for the kitties of Devore shelter without YOUR support. Please, if you are able, donate.
