DONT EXPECT A FREE OR FAIR ELECTION IN 2015. Going by d scale of treasury looting on going in d country only a licensed buffon would expect non-interference by FG in 2015 Election. D present regime has placed partisanship and interests of party members above national consideration. Pres GEJ has so far behaved irresponsibly on d most crucial matters affecting d nation. His silence on treasury looting borders on tyranny. His administration is nothing but a fiesta of financial embezzlement. His inaction and lethargic disposition towards misappropriation of public funds is assuming legendary proportion. Bode George, Rasheed Maina, Oduah and Diezani are but few amongst d living legends of corrupt practices in d annals of Nigerian history. We dont hear of missing funds in local currency (too bulky I guess). £, €, $ are d in thing. D good thing about d GEJ led administration is its consistency in condoning direct stealing of funds. Our tertiary institutions have transformed fm citadels of learning to d craddle of frustration for students. Neither VCs, Rectors, Registrars or students dare speculate on d date students would graduate. It is commonplace to see a student spending upto 6 yrs for a 4 year course. No wonder wards of these felons fly abroad to acquire education at a time our universities are deliberately starved of funds. Consequently leading to world record breaking strike by all manners of stakeholders doin their bits turn by turn. Universally, we hav gained infamy courtesy of our penchant to circumvent rules in quest for self enrichment thru foul means. By his utterances, all can see that GEJ is a representation of our crooked ways of living. He is a devine punishment on both GEJites and d opposition. Rumours are rife that heads of parastals and governmental agencies hav been given TARGETS to meet, just like bankers do b4 campaign for election kicks of in earnest. About 6 wks back d Pres stated that corruption is not d problem of Africa. Your Excellency, I tally with u on that. Weak and dishonest leadership is d problem bedevilling our land. For emphasis sake, penultimate week while in Namibia, oga Presido said corruption in Nigeria is exaggerated. My post was not written as a N-S thing, neither is it a forum for religious debates and interchange of acidic vitriolics. I implore all Nigerians to come out and see GEJ off to Otuoke. We need an upright well travelled and highly exposed person fm any part of d country to steer our ship of state come May 2015. We must discourage persons who lived their entire lives in their states of origin fm contesting for d No1 seat in d country. D apt post for GEJ to vie for is LGC coucillorship.
