DONT HEAT PLASTICS, PLEASE!! There is nothing known as microwave safe plastics. Remember one thing, the companies are here to earn profits first and giving a statement like these plastics are microwave safe is only to misguide the customer and to sell their products. Any plastic when heated releases number of dangerous gases and byproducts. One of them is PHTHALATES. These gases have found to have a very strong link with different types of cancers. Microwaving is not the only way u heat plastics and use them. Ur family is at great risk and that is the reason cancers are spreading without the doctors knowing why. Here are the steps u can take to avoid heating plastics:- 1. Use glass in microwaves, not plastics 2. Do not leave the water bottle in a closed car heated in the sun. If u do, throw the water. 3. Do not use plastic cups to drink hot coffee or tea or soups. 4. Earlier children had glass bottles for milk, with huge promotions of plastics, this is not there any more. Use glass bottles, do not boil plastic bottles for cleaning them, it is very very dangerous for kids. 5. Simply reduce the overall use of plastics from your house.
