DONT JUDGE MY BUSINESS, MY ETHICS OR MY QUALIFICATIONS BECAUSE I NOW WORK FROM HOME. I have been in my own business as an owner/operator now for just over 20 years. It has been my only source of income with no other income support whatsoever - I have never gotten any government support nor thought I was entitled to any. After 16 years on leasing premises I did a gestimate of how much I had paid out in leases, attending Expos at the RNA and the Exhibition Centre in Brisbane and various other smaller expos to promote my business and the amount came to approx. $400,000, I nearly choked. It was at this time (2008/2009) that we were entering our economic crisis that I decided to relocate my business to home. This was a hard decision, but owing to the economy, it was a necessary one. It was lucky that our home was able to accommodate this move without disrupting our private life as well, we could keep my business rooms separate from our personal/living areas. We did have to make changes and improvements to do so. Entry to the clinic is via the front (up the stairs), you then enter a reception/waiting area (complete with EFTpost) and a separate treatment room which is air conditioned for comfort. Very professional and very welcoming. You dont have to go through my home to get to my treatment areas - except if you need to go to the toilet. I do not, and never had, tried to deceive anyone that that my business is a home based establishment. It is on my website, all you have to do is read! So where is all this going you ask? Well I am pissed off that people judge me because I have a home based business. I am not stupid. You make an appointment, you take up money making time in my schedule, you drive up and then you drive off because it is a residential address. Stop wasting my valuable time doing this when I can be helping those who genuinely need me more than you do. I sincerely thank all my clients who regularly support me.
