DON’T SEEK PEOPLE WITH FAMILIAR SPIRITS TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR LIFE 2Ti_4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; Because of itching ears people are always seeking after diviner false prophets with all their energies, resources, souls, minds, bodies, etc. These they don’t even preach the true Gospel of life but spend time in divination making their own names through the spirits of divination. Lev_19:31 Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God. Lev_20:6 And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people. Deu 18:10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Deu 18:11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. Deu 18:12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. Deu 18:13 Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God.1Sa_28:3 Now Samuel was dead, and all Israel had lamented him, and buried him in Ramah, even in his own city. And Saul had put away those that had familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land. 1Sa_28:9 And the woman said unto him, Behold, thou knowest what Saul hath done, how he hath cut off those that have familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land: wherefore then layest thou a snare for my life, to cause me to die? 2Ki_21:6 And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger. 2Ki_23:24 Moreover the workers with familiar spirits, and the wizards, and the images, and the idols, and all the abominations that were spied in the land of Judah and in Jerusalem, did Josiah put away, that he might perform the words of the law which were written in the book that Hilkiah the priest found in the house of the LORD. Isa_8:19 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead? Isa_19:3 And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards. POINTS TO NOTE 1. The face of the Lord is turned against those multitudes of believers that are seeking people with familiar spirits and listening to their divination about their lives. 2. Those that are ever entertaining and listening to diviners in churches are defiled 3. Regard them not that have familiar spirits. Today millions are worshipping men with familiar spirits spending their resources to go and listen about their lives 4. There is no difference between prophets with familiar spirits and wizards 5. There is a flood of familiar spirits in the land operating in fake prophets and millions of people have allowed these to defile them 6. The familiar spirits are operating in denominations and yet many think it is the Spirit of God because of lack of knowledge about what the Spirit of God is and what the Spirit of God does. 7. The familiar spirits and the three unclean spirits are hindering the spread of the true Gospel and holding people back from accepting the true Gospel of Salvation. THE THREE UNCLEAN SPIRITS ARE AT WORK Rev 16:13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. Rev 16:14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. ADVICE Let us seek to be filled with the true Spirit of God. The Spirit of God is a Spirit of Holiness, righteousness, joy, etc. The Holy Spirit is gentle and does not make people bark like dogs during fellowship but is a Spirit of decency and order. Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 1Co 14:40 Let all things be done decently and in order. WE NEED TO BE FILLED WITH THE TRUE SPIRIT OF GOD!
