DON’T STOP! DIG DEEP! Every day, in one form or another, discouragement comes. How do we respond, as a Christian? Do we get down, frustrated or stressed out? Do we allow that discouragement to stop us? No! Discouragement, hard times should not stop us but should encourage us to exercise our faith as children of God. So, when discouragement comes, don’t stop. Dig deep and fight it through! When fear hits, speed up the attack. We fight through our fears and failures by maximising our forward motion. Hebrews 12:1 – “Since we are surrounded by so many examples of faith, we must get rid of everything that slows us down, especially sin that distracts us. We must run the race that lies ahead of us and never give up.” Remember, our life is a race, a warfare where only the serious minded are victorious. The serious minded do not get weighed down and stop. They move on. So, as you go through today, don’t let your bad experiences wipe you out. Turn them around and see them as life lessons.
