DP has been to Eland Lodge this morning to do prelim 19 affiliated BD, this is the petplan test for next weekend so we did it on Thursday at field house with a score of 69.09% and today at Eland we bettered it by 1 and a half marks to get 69.7%, 1/2 a mark off the elusive 70%! Not good enough for 1st place this time but an easy 2nd, 3 & 1/2% above 3rd. Was a big class for an affiliated prelim, I guess others had the same idea and wanted a run through before the area festival next weekend. Worked hard on keeping the poll up and not a mention of it dropping on the score sheet this time but I feel we lost some of the thoroughness and hind leg stepping under. Particularly pleased as the judge was a list 3 so judges to a high level. Hopefully next weekend we can strike a balance between the two and get that 70% mark I know she is capable of! Well done again DP dressage diva :)
