= > DPS holds ‘Cyber Crew – TechKnow 2013, IT Fest’ SRINAGAR, : “TechKnow 2013” IT Fest under the aegis of DPS Srinagar kick started on a high note November 16. The event was organized by Cyber Crew, The IT Club of DPS, Srinagar. The two day event was inaugurated and thrown open by the Principal, Kusam Warikoo. The event was divided into six different workshops, five catering to the students and one for the accompanying teachers. Workshops for the students included Video Editing, Web Designing, Networking, Graphic Designing and Open Source Technology. A workshop on PHP (Programming Language) was conducted for the teachers. At the end of this two day Session, an IT quiz was held for the visiting schools only and the winners bagged some goodies as well. Event Coordinator, Irshad ul Islam gave away the merit cum participation certificates to the participants. The Participants, both from the host and the visiting schools were thrilled to attend his workshop as it was the first of its kind in the history of the valley. “This two day event should have been for a week. We look forward to attend such sessions more often at DPS” were some of the comments given by the guests, spokesperson said.
