DR. JOHN FICK ELECTED TO MSHPM BOARD Associate Professor and Director of the Graduate Program in Health Care Leadership Dr. John W. Fick, FACHE, was recently elected to the Michigan Society for Healthcare Planning and Marketing (MSHPM) Board of Directors. As a board member, Dr. Fick will also serve as a member at large on the Societys Executive Committee. The MSHPM is a membership group for professionals and students who work or are interested in healthcare planning, marketing, communication or public relations. It is the local affiliate of the American Hospital Associations Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development (SHSMD). Dr. Fick is Board-certified in healthcare management and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and also serves on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the Midwest Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (MCACHE), as well as the Editorial Board of the Journal for Healthcare Management, published by the Health Administration Press, a division of the Foundation of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
