DR LUCY KING | EVENT KENYA Kenya Museum Society is delighted to invite you to a lecture by award winning scientist, Dr. Lucy King, Elephants and Bees Project Leader, Save the Elephants. ‘Using honey bees as a natural deterrent for crop-raiding elephants’ Dr. King, in collaboration with Oxford University and Disney’s Animal Kingdom, explores the natural world for solutions to human-elephant conflict, in a research project that uses in-depth knowledge and observation of elephant behaviour to reduce damage from crop-raiding elephants using African honey bees. facebook/events/1424185261136025/?ref=3&ref_newsfeed_story_type=regular Lucy King was brought up in Africa and has an MSc in Biology and a PhD in Zoology from Oxford University.
